Busy doing nothing

What a month! I can't believe we're nearly at the end of February already. Honestly, BI (Before Izzy) January alone would have lasted this amount of time!

And yet ... not a lot seems to have been achieved. I've done a few of my monthly goals. The Husband and I had an evening without any TV and I got some reading done. I managed 2 books in January, with Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella making a surprise entry! It was a fun, light read. I like SK's stuff, and this involved a ghost, so it was a bit different to her usual writing.

LoveFilm decided to give us a challenge with sending things back within a week by allocating us My Name Is Earl season 2. That's 7 episodes per disc, which is quite a lot with the limited amount of time we have, and with the huge amount of new programmes starting! Earl is really funny, I think because we hadn't seen it in years that I'd forgotten it was so clever - it's really good on the continuity and referencing things that have happened previously.

I've decided to make a change to an item on the list. I'm changing #14 to See the other mummies once a month. Yes, that's a bit different to inviting the others over once a month, but it occurred to me that with everyone heading back to work in the next few months, it's going to be difficult enough to see them regularly as it is.

Crikey - it's taken me ages to just write this ... I got distracted by How I Met Your Mother - the classic episode "Slap Bet". Genius!
