Feeling the panic ...

Going through the list tonight, I'm feeling more and more anxious about all the things I need to do. Ok, so really it's optional, but as I go through it there seems to be so much! There are several things I've done, but then I still need to save the £2 for each!

On Sunday we finally packed up all of Izzy's clothes that she's grown out of. My maternity clothes are all packed up in a vacuum bag, so we filled another FOUR. Honestly, I don't think we need to buy any clothes for new babies in this family for at least the first 3 months for a boy, 6 months for a girl! It's all been put away into the wardrobe in the spare room, or under the bed. That's 2 things crossed off the list.

We've moved the recycle bins round to the back of the house, which is making it easier to keep the kitchen a little tidier.

As for the main thing we sorted - this month we went to see Les Miserables at the Theatre Royal. We've known it was coming for the last year, but what with tickets going on sale in newborn haze days, we never got around to sorting out our own tickets and nearly missed out! Luckily someone the Husband works with let us buy her tickets, so we went a couple of weeks ago. And it was AMAZING. It had Gareth Gates in as Marius and while he's no Michael Ball, he certainly wasn't awful in the role like I thought he might be. I think the hair helped - it was flat rather than spiky!

The tickets we'd been sold turned out to be front row centre, it was fantastic to be so close. I got completely swept up in it all, despite the initial stress about leaving Izzy. The way they used projection and choreography for the sewer scene was so effective, and as for the effects when Javert commits suicide - nothing CGI like -but it was just the way the set moved away ... I can't describe it! Brilliant!

I'm now off to look at the list and try and work out something to achieve in the next few weeks - there's a lot to do and the 1001 days are ticking past!
